I found the term "pseudohuman" today. It is when an individual looks human but isn't. This resonated with me a lot. I then started thinking about my experiences. When it comes to being a silken windhound, I feel I have a human appearance only as an illusion of sorts. Think of it as being like what the wolves of Wolf's Rain have going on. They're physically wolves using illusions of being human to protect themselves. This is exactly how I feel being a silken windhound. Difference is that my human illusion got stuck and that is how I am unfortunately perceived. It feels deeply wrong and even I have found myself tricked into believing it's me physically. I'm like the dog version of The Bear That Wasn't (really, give this a read; has a theme relevant to nonhuman interests).
What about being a deinonychus? Oh, I am definitely still a deinonychus. The thing is my experience of being a deinonychus is very much manifested in classical A.H.W.W. style shifting therianthropy. But if I'm physically a silken windhound, I can't really be a therianthrope. Being physically human is an essential component to therianthropy. I'm not sure how to define that. Whatever. Deinonychus can still fall under "pseudohuman" even in that context so I may fuck around and add the heta-pi (ͰΠ) to my bio later and/or usernames. Just completely ditch the theta-delta and not label myself beyond pseudohuman, nonhuman and alterhuman.
Yep, deinonychus still fits under the term. Pseudohumanity is actually pretty broad. It's not limited to physical manifestations of nonhumanity. It can also be being nonhuman and feeling that your physical body doesn't reflect that for example. This whole thing has been me talking about my experiences. I would love to see this term used more often.
